La Ruta del Cocido Madrileño 2025: A gastronomic event to combat winter
This edition comes with important new features, new participants and the same spirit as always: to celebrate the most emblematic dish of the capital in a unique culinary experience.
From February 15 to March 31, the city of Madrid and various towns in the Community will be filled with traditional flavors, thanks to the 50 participating restaurants, which this year promise to delight locals and visitors with their best recipes.
What is the Ruta del Cocido Madrileño?
The Cocido Madrileño Route is an invitation to visit the restaurants that best prepare this iconic dish. Cocido Madrileño, traditionally served in three vuelcos (soup, chickpeas with vegetables and meats), is much more than a meal; it is a celebration of local culture and gastronomy.
This event allows diners to enjoy different interpretations of the recipe, from the most traditional clay pot preparations to innovative versions adapted to modern times.
